SA crime film, Jerusalema, submitted to Oscars

South African crime feature film Jerusalema has been submitted for consideration in the category of best foreign language film for the 81st Academy Awards to be held in 2009.
Jerusalema is a critically acclaimed film about crime, corruption and squandered opportunities in post apartheid South Africa.

R30mil to benefit school

The Soshanguve South Secondary School, a R30-million initiative of the Independent Development Trust (IDT), was officially handed over to the Gauteng department of education on Friday.
